The player should aim to catch the Mario badge first, while the crane is moving towards Mario it should knock down the Lakitu badge, which should create a chain reaction knocking down all of the other badges, making them fall into the hole since the ground is slippery, leaving only the Mario badge to catch, with enough luck the set can be completed in one single play.

This Crane Game contains a glitch, before the player even begins to play, the Bob-omb badge may fall down, if not, the player should try resetting the Crane Game before attempting to play it, the glitch works better if the player switches the Crane Game as soon as it opens up and go back to it, note that the Bunny does not reset the Crane Game two times in a row and that the badge will not be awarded if the player has no plays left as seen in the image.
